North: Where the beach begins south of the southern Port Aransas jetty.

South: Where the beach begins north of the northern Port Mansfield Jetty.

No Fishing Zones:

1. Mustang Island State Park Camping area access only by park entrance. Defined area as south Fish Pass Jetty to bollards at south end of Mustang Island State Park extending into the water.

2. PINS AREA: Fishing is prohibited in Gulf waters in front of the Malaquite Beach Visitor Center Pavilion between the southern most and northern most picnic shelters. Fishing at this location is incompatible with other visitor uses. This 100-yard stretch of beach in front of the visitor center is heavily used by families with small children.
